SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) –

Remember this bride and groom who lost everything in the fire that ripped through the River Crossing Apartment Complex in Thunderbolt last week? A local wedding planner and photographer set them up with the Budweiser Clydesdale horses Tuesday morning to re-take engagement pictures that burned in the fire.

“I really can’t believe this is happening, I think I’m still in shock,” Nicolette Herbein said.

Nicoletta Herbein and her fiance are getting married in August, but everything they had been planning and making for the big day went up in flames last week, including gifts, decorations even their original engagement pictures

“We just didn’t have the rights to them so there was no way to get them reprinted,” Herbein said.

“I just wanted to help anyway I can,” Jodi Jackson with Savannah Wedding Dreams said.

Jackson, who saw our original story on WTOC, was able to set them up with a free photography session with the Budweiser Clydesdales before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

“We took advantage of what was going on. The people were awesome with floats, they let us use the Clydesdales, a lady came by and gave us some beads and we put their ring with the shamrock,” Jamie Weaver with Dream Weaver Photos said.

This is the first couple to ever have their engagement pictures with the Clydesdales and Herbein said she couldn’t think of a more perfect day to recapture what they lost.

“I think this is going to be special because it’s St. Patrick’s Day, it’s about luck and I think that we are very lucky to be able to survive the fire and get our dogs out and that we’re OK,” she said.

The photographer is giving them all rights to their new photos so in case something happens to these , they can just re-print them. And

Savannah Wedding Dreams is also helping them with a lot of their decorations and gifts that were also lost in the fire.

Mackey House elopement – Savannah Ga

collage

Amber and Steve are just lucky ! Not only did they find one another in a world of billions but right in the middle of a cold, rainy week Рthe sun came out and warmed up the beautiful Mackey house grounds.  Beyond Beautiful by Heather made sure my bride was stunning with her hair and make up.  Michelle (Improvisions) put together a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and set up all the tables and even did the cake!

Stopping traffic

This soon-to-be-bride thought ahead and bought some props. I said “jump” and they said “how high?” That was fun!
