9. Engagement Session Shenanigans with Leah & Ian! Leah and Ian described themselves as a “self-proclaimed awkward couple” who definitely don’t like being the center of attention… so naturally, they’re getting married! I joked that a wedding is the perfect place to be a bride and groom and totally not be the focus of the day. We had their engagement session at Forsyth Park, and while the photos make it look like a dreamy, quiet day, in reality, we were expertly dodging thousands of people at the Farmer’s Market and sidewalk sales. (Shoutout to all the background strangers who unknowingly participated in this session.) The highlight of the shoot? The dip shot. I asked Ian if he knew how to dip Leah for that epic, romantic moment. They did not but talked briefly …And then immediately nailed the most perfect dip like a seasoned pro. Someone get this man a trophy! Leah and Ian are tying the knot in June, and I couldn’t be more excited for them! 51.Like Mother, Like Daughter – A Savannah Stroll to Remember Some photo shoots just make your heart smile—and this mother-daughter session was one of them. From the stately Savannah mansions to the dreamy live oaks and iconic Forsyth Park fountain, every location gave us something magical. But it was the two of them who truly stole the show. They looked more like sisters than mother and daughter—effortlessly stylish, full of laughter, and perfectly in sync. At times they’d burst into giggles at the exact same moment or mirror each other’s pose without even trying. That kind of bond can’t be posed or planned—it’s just real. We wrapped up near one of Savannah’s gorgeous wrought iron staircases, golden hour light filtering through Spanish moss, and I couldn’t help but think: what a gift it is to capture this kind of connection.  Kaycia and Layla – mother and daughter photoshoot at Forsyth Park
