Colleton River Plantation Celebrates with food, fun, fireworks and photobooth!

Every year Dream Weaver Photos is blessed to be able to participate in Colleton River Plantation’s annual Fourth of July celebration! Beth Anderson did a fantastic job coordinating everything to a tee (no pun intended!) Since I am usually a Savannah wedding photographer, I LOVE getting to take family photos and the all the fun that goes on throughout the day in this Bluffton community. This year I was lucky enough to get to take pictures of the golf cart parade…what a talented bunch of people! From ribs to ice cream – bounce houses and trampolines -putting contests, face paint and glitter tattoos – rock walls and fireworks – the smiles lasted well into the night. My buddy, Alan with Hilton Head Entertainment is always a huge hit with the kids and adults alike – he brings prizes for the hula hoop contest – he gets families dancing together and plays awesome Patriotic music during the fireworks! Who doesn’t love a photobooth? and Dream Weaver Photo Booth is right there on site printing and giving out memories that will last forever.

I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Jamie, worked with my now fiancé a few days prior, to create a magical surprise proposal. She made it so effortless for him to plan from afar (Buffalo, NY) & the process was seamless. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
