Weather in Savannah : The weather can be hot, humid or rain can come at any time. This was the case with Keisha and her fiance’, Black. Their wedding is planned for Aug but she really wanted to take some time before hand and do some quick photos and do a quick change with all the kids for some family photos. The rain came early but we were able to catch a break – in fact, the rain cooled everything down and the overcast was perfect!
Location for Family photos: Savannah is so beautiful that there are hundreds of great spots for photos but Forsyth Park is the favorite. Within walking distance are trees, fountain and stairs and historic homes that provide a beautiful backdrop for family photos.
Time: Getting a family together for photos and getting great shots with different backdrops plus changing clothes can get expensive but we offer a mini session of just 30 mins with a thumb drive and edited photos for $150. Most families do not want to spend a lot of time getting photos done, especially in the heat so a 30 min or even a mini session of 15 mins is perfect for anyone wanting a fast photographer who knows around Savannah! This family knocked it out of the park, they brought a change of clothes, did their family photos, did the wedding photos and had 3 locations all within the allotted time. I was so impressed! They were fun and friendly, just a perfect family to go with a perfect day.

I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Jamie, worked with my now fiancé a few days prior, to create a magical surprise proposal. She made it so effortless for him to plan from afar (Buffalo, NY) & the process was seamless. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
