Some couples just make my job so easy, and Manny and Rocio were definitely one of them!

Before their wedding photos, Rocio sent me a wonderful list of inspiration photos she wanted to recreate. I absolutely LOVE when brides share their ideas with me! It gives us a chance to get creative and make sure we capture the photos they’ve been dreaming of.

And let me just say — Rocio was absolutely GORGEOUS! She looked stunning in her wedding dress, and Manny was looking pretty handsome himself!

We started capturing their love story at the beautiful Forsyth Park, one of Savannah’s most iconic locations for wedding photography. We also made our way to Lafayette Square, with the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist as our backdrop. Seriously, does it get any more romantic than that?

But one of my favorite parts of the day had to be the veil photos!

You know those dreamy wedding photos where the bride’s veil is floating perfectly in the air? Well, sometimes getting that perfect shot requires a little help. And who better to ask than a complete stranger walking by?

Every time we asked a random tourist or passerby if they’d mind tossing Rocio’s veil into the air for a photo, they happily obliged! Not one person turned us down!

I mean, seriously — don’t you just LOVE the South?

Between Rocio’s gorgeous smile, Manny’s love for his bride, Savannah’s beautiful scenery, and a few very helpful strangers, we captured some truly wonderful memories.

David took our garden wedding pictures at The Gastonian! We actually had a pop-up thunderstorm during the ceremony. The rain didn't ruin our wedding or the pictures, in fact, David captured the beauty of the occasion & the rain. He was fun & creative. Our pictures are outstanding. Our photographer bailed on us the last minute. I contacted DreamWeaver the day of and it was a total blessing in disguise. They put me in touch with David and he was amazing. Jamie took our wedding pictures and to say she was amazing would be selling her short. Our wedding day was raining and nasty, but we were determined to get some photos outside. Jamie responded with "WE GOT THIS!!". She ducked the rain with us and got the most wonderful rainy photos. She captured the magic in every single shot. And, just when we thought she didn't catch a memory, as we scrolled through the many pictures she sent us, we found every one of them. Nothing was left behind. Jamie is the best! Not only is she an amazing photographer she is an amazing person! My daughter had a wasp somehow crawl up her pants leg in the middle of a shoot and Jamie quickly went to her aid! Jamie lifted her slacks up and out flew the wasp leaving 4 bites! Jamie went to her car and brought back hand sanitizer and put on the bites to ease the sting.
