9. Engagement Session Shenanigans with Leah & Ian! Leah and Ian described themselves as a “self-proclaimed awkward couple” who definitely don’t like being the center of attention… so naturally, they’re getting married! I joked that a wedding is the perfect place to be a bride and groom and totally not be the focus of the day. We had their engagement session at Forsyth Park, and while the photos make it look like a dreamy, quiet day, in reality, we were expertly dodging thousands of people at the Farmer’s Market and sidewalk sales. (Shoutout to all the background strangers who unknowingly participated in this session.) The highlight of the shoot? The dip shot. I asked Ian if he knew how to dip Leah for that epic, romantic moment. They did not but talked briefly …And then immediately nailed the most perfect dip like a seasoned pro. Someone get this man a trophy! Leah and Ian are tying the knot in June, and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
