Crystal and Edwin – wedding at Gingerbread House

The Gingerbread House is such a stunning, beautiful and historic place to have a wedding! Crystal and Edwin’s wedding theme was “Two Less fish in the Sea” – and they made their wedding unique and beautiful by putting two fish on the cake, live fish swimming on every table and a metallic sign-in wooden plaque. The bride’s long veil was just as long as her train and she was stunning. When she walked down the aisle, you could tell that she just took Edwin’s breath away. Although it was hot outside, her family stood in front of this gorgeous venue and threw their hands up and congratulated the newly weds. I’m honored to be chosen as their photographer!

I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
