Jack, Stephanie and Backes- engagement photos downtown parks in Savannah

Jack, Stephanie and their new addition, Backes, drove 3 hours just to have their photos taken before Jack had to leave Georgia. Forsyth Park is always a favorite but I wanted to show off Savannah’s other fountain & architecture. The Old Candler Hospital – is just as beautiful now as it was when it was first built. The iron works made the perfect backdrop for rings and I had some scrabble letters in my “bag of tricks” so I added Stephanie’s gorgeous ring to replace the “O” in LOVE. Man – it sparkled and it really stood out. There was a little bit of graffiti and a crudely drawn heart in spray paint – which I LOVE for some fun, silly photos – we threw some glasses on the pup and grabbed a flask – again from my bag. (Jack didn’t bring it, I promise) The next park we went to was Columbia Square. It’s a favorite square of mine because you can get 10-15 different backdrops just within walking distance. Jack and Stephanie surprised me by doing the best dance dip on the first try I have seen! Can’t wait for the wedding!!

With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
