Surprise Proposal at Wormsloe
Fair warning…try not to smile when looking at these photos!
Some moments are worth the wait — and Ashley & Alisa’s surprise proposal was exactly that.
Alisa had already popped the question in Virginia and had been patiently (and anxiously!) waiting for Ashley to do the same. When Ashley called me, I knew this one was going to be special. They traveled up from Florida, and together we picked the dreamy Wormsloe Historic Site for the big moment — those towering oak trees dripping in Spanish moss never disappoint.
Ashley planned everything perfectly. As Alisa walked beneath the oaks, completely unaware of what was about to happen, Ashley got down on one knee and returned the surprise. Alisa’s reaction? Pure joy, happy tears, and that kind of smile you can’t fake. 
After the proposal, we headed over to the Isle of Hope in Savannah for more photos — a peaceful, romantic spot by the water that fit them perfectly. Between the laughter, the hugs, and the nonstop smiles, it was impossible not to feel the love.
These two are extra special: one serves as a nurse, the other with the fire department — both spending their lives caring for others, and now starting this next chapter together.
