Surprise Proposal in Savannah

No hurricane could stop them!  Josh and Rachel have been dating for three and a half years and like all ladies – Rachel was getting suspicious.  Josh told her it would be sometime in the fall and he told her he was taking her on a trip but did not tell her when. He planned to propose the 2nd Monday in September. Enter Hurricane Irma.  Savannah had to evacuate.   Josh and I texted back and forth and although dates and times changed, he never let on that he was nervous, in fact, Rachel decided to believe Josh when he said for her not to get too excited.  He wasn’t going to propose  – he had only hired a photographer because he wanted some professional photos.  We did a 40 min. photo session all around Forsyth Park and the last 20 mins were set aside for the surprise proposal!  I told them to talk to each other so I could get candid photos, and Josh told Rachel how much he loves her and WHAM! Pulled out his mother’s engagement ring!  I am so lucky to have been chosen as their photographer! Congratulations on pulling off your surprise proposal in Forsyth Park!
