Surprise Proposal at Wormsloe State Park Savannah

Congratulations to Hannah and Chris!  Chris needed a photographer to capture his surprise proposal at Wormsloe  – one of many stunning historic sites in Savannah, Ga.  After spending time chatting with Chris about the best way to “trick” Hannah – we decided that we would tell her that I was shooting for a magazine about Wormsloe and asked them to be my models.  Hannah bought it and held Chris’s hand as I asked them to walk towards me and stand by the fence – they even dipped low for a great shot with all the spanish moss and beautiful arch of trees for the perfect photo.  When we (Chris and I) were about finished with the “fake” photo shoot, he looked at me to make sure I was ready.  I thought he need a way to get the box out of his pocket so I suggested that they both just talk to each other – and let me get a few candid photos.  Chris took the lead and told Hannah how special she is and how much he wanted to have her in his life forever and then – even in the wet ground (which thankfully it had stopped raining for a brief moment) and popped the question!  How exciting!
