Tina & Greg – Elopement in Savannah at the Gastonian with a trip to Vic’s on the River

Tina and Greg made me laugh so hard when I arrived to do their elopement in Savannah,ga at the Gastonian Hotel – a beautiful B&B downtown Savannah. First Greg tried to get the cork off the wine (included in their elopement) as Tina got very far away – snickering the whole time waiting for that cork to fly off! They met at a school where they both worked and wanted to get married in Savannah because they have never been and it is such a beautiful city! We were able to stop by Forsyth Park and take some beautiful photos in front of the fountain and in front of the flowers blooming in the park! The kind staff at Vic’s On The River allowed us to sneak to the second floor and get a photo while the Savannah River Boat – the “Georgia Queen” floated by on the Savannah River! I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Jamie, worked with my now fiancé a few days prior, to create a magical surprise proposal. She made it so effortless for him to plan from afar (Buffalo, NY) & the process was seamless. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
