Wedding at Cotton Sail Savannah, Ga

Getting married in Savannah can be stressful – if you are from here or not, a wedding planner like Jodi Jackson with Savannah Wedding Dreams can make your wedding day so much easier! I had the privilege of photographing Quinn and Eddie’s family photos with some engagement photos in the mix. Their baby is so cute and beautiful that I photographed their wedding rings with her little foot behind them – because although tiny in stature, she is such a big part of their day – this little precious girl brought so many people together!

The balcony of the Cotton Sail Hotel had a beautiful view of the Savannah River and gave just enough shade at 4pm to allow Jodi to put rows of chairs for their guests to avoid the sun. The staff at the hotel was so accommodating and helpful! Quinn and Eddie gave me enough time to go to River St and grab a few family photos and then allowed me to go get a few more on the stairs.

I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Jamie, worked with my now fiancé a few days prior, to create a magical surprise proposal. She made it so effortless for him to plan from afar (Buffalo, NY) & the process was seamless. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
