Cissy and Jay at in Hilton Head Resort Simple and Classic wedding

Cissy and Jay have it all! They adore one another, have a wonderful blended family and have friends that love them so much so when they came to me describing their ideal wedding, I knew I could pull it off! They both wanted “nothing intrusive” and wanted lots of photos of people having fun and nothing too formal. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Shipyard Beach Club on Hilton Head Island . We found lots of scenic location for photography and kept their wish to include their family and friends in most of the photos a reality. We did a few basic formal poses but had lots of fun laughing and making jokes so the wedding party turned into a mini party! What really made everything special was the EVERYTHING that the catering & planning company did to make sure everything was perfect. I can not say enough about Celebrations Catering and Events! They took care of everything…the reception and band were amazing – and the staff at Celebrations catered to everyone like they were royalty. Jackie was exceptional – she knew exactly where to find everything and we had a schedule that didn’t seem rushed! The food that Celebrations catered was phenomenal and so unique! I just wanted to start with first and for most thanks for saving our day back in October of 2021…. Our photographer we had booked canceled on us not Once, but Twice! Through email at that….. With us not being local to where we were getting married, we wanted to do engagement photos with our wedding photographer. Just to make SURE! Savannah will forever hold a place in our hearts thanks to Jamie and Chris. Arriving at Wormsloe, I had no idea I would be leaving engaged. Working with Jamie and Dream Weaver was without question, the right choice! From the initial interaction, Jamie was responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a group of 16 coming together to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary - 8 adults and 8 children - Jamie created a fun experience for all involved. Full disclosure, we did have a challenge (the card lost the initial photos); however, the way that Jamie handled the situation is why this remains a 5 star review. She worked with our schedule, did a complete re-shoot and even brought a second photographer to ensure we were going to get what she had promised. The end result is exactly what we wanted - 3 generations captured and a 50th anniversary celebration to be remembered. Thank you Jamie!
